Point Roberts
is the Jewel of the Northwest, situated 30 minutes from Vancouver,
BC, Canada. Our area offers a safe and beautiful rural lifestyle
with big city amenities at our back door. We are a 4.9 square
mile peninsula with the Canadian border as our northern boundary.
The border stations provide a "gated community"
with resultant low crime rate.
Only a little
over 3000 acres in size, it affords a wide geographical array
of properties. Views range from territorial water views of
the American San Juan and Canadian Gulf Islands and Olympic
peninsula, majestic Mount Baker, Boundary Bay and the Lower
Mainland of Vancouver BC and its suburbs.

Perhaps one of the most overlooked features
is the annual rainfall of less than 36 inches. Within 20 miles
in any direction from the Point, precipitation will range
between forty to in excess of sixty inches annually. The Point
is enjoyed by year-round residents and seasonal home owners
from Canada. Although not an Island, we are often considered
one by many, because of our rural atmosphere and ambiance.
We are home to one of the finest dredged
marinas in the Pacific Northwest and the local waters are
a favorite for the commercial salmon fleet and sports fishers.
The golf course in the northwest corner of the Point is considered
world class. Summer months lure sunbathers to the beaches,
bicycles, joggers and big city dwellers escaping for a cruise
in the country.
