August Rain
« on: September 05, 2014, 10:07:11 AM »
Rain totals for the month of August are 7.2" for WSAC (weather station Alamos Centro) and as much as 8.3" for other locations around the town. Year to-date as of 31 -08-2014 was 17.25" for WSAC and between 20.5" - 21.5" reported by other weather watchers. So, for Peter who is anxiously waiting to hear, yes, we have reached 20" for our rain year starting June 16th!

September started off with almost 1" on Monday and is up to 1.82" for the week!

Hurricane Norbert, which has sent the last two days of rain our way, and passed within 100 miles of Cabo San Lucas last night, is forecast to deliver more rain in Sonora and the Southwest US the next couple of days with heavy accumulations possible.
