Greek Fest at the Hacienda

Lots of fun this Saturday, Jan 3rd at the Hacienda with a Greek Cooking Class and Taverna by local favorite Phillip Karafotas.

There are nine available seats for the 4:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. Cooking Class in the Hacienda. No charge for the classes, but a dinner reservation is required. You will receive copies of Phillip's sweet mother's family recipes.

6:30 p.m. is the time to gather in the Patio of the Agave Cafe.

Dinner (Mezedes) and grilled meats (Souvlakia) hot off the mesquite fire will be severed in Pita Bread. Among the Mezedes: Dolmades, Avgolemono Sauce, Horiatiki Salata, Kefthedakia, Classic Shrimp and Tomatoes, Spanakopita and Olive and Caper Tapenade. Greek Grape Pie for Dessert with Coffee or Tea.

Cost: $22.00 per person + iva and gratuity appreciated.

Greek Dancing will be taught during the evening. It really only involves a few simple steps and a napkin. Please join in the fun.

For those wishing, our Greek Fest will end with a complimentary showing, in the Theater, of My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
