U.S. Consulate General Hermosillo
 
 
The U.S. Consulate General Hermosillo would like to invite all U.S. citizens to join us for our annual Town Hall event on Saturday, January 14th 2017 at the Hacienda de Los Santos Resort theater  in Alamos.
 
The agenda for this year’s events is as follows:
 
-Message from Consular Chief Jay Epping
-Remarks by American Citizen Services Chief Tammy Baker
-Questions and comments from U.S. citizens attending the Town Hall
 
We will accept applications for passport renewals and provide notarial services following the Town Hall.
 
Passports
Please visit our webpage https://mx.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/how-passport/ for detailed passport requirements.
Please be sure to bring original documents and one set of photocopies of all documents.  We cannot accept your application without the copies.
We will mail your new passport to the DHL office in Navajoa.  Please provide us a DHL receipt for postage from the U.S. Consulate General in Hermosillo at Monterrey 141, Esqueda, 83260 Hermosillo, SON, Mexico to the DHL office in Navajoa (a “guia prepagada”) along with your application.  DHL will then send us the pre-paid envelope which we will use to mail you your passport. This may be purchased at the Navajoa DHL office. The estimated cost is $552 MX pesos*
You must pay by cash only and with exact change for the services.
Adult passport book renewal                     $110 USD or 2361.51 pesos*
Adult passport card renewal                       $30 USD or 644.05 pesos*
Minor passport book renewal                    $105 USD or 2254.17 pesos*
Minor passport card renewal                      $40 USD or 858.73 pesos*
Minor passport card & book renewal      $120 USD or 2576.20 pesos*
 
Notarials

The cost per notarial stamp is $50 USD or 1073.41 pesos*
 
*prices in pesos are subject to change depending on conversions.
 
The event will be held on Saturday January 14th  at 2 p.m. in the theater at the Hacienda de Los Santos Resort.  Please come and bring questions about issues that are important to you. We look forward to seeing you there.
