I would like to remind everyone that Kathy's Korner stays open year round. Tues-Sat, 10-2. For those of you who may be unaware, the Alamos History Association Research Library is located in a separate room at Kathy's Korner. The hours are the same. This is not a lending library, only a research library. There is an immense collection of books on Alamos, Sonora and Mexico. The interviews of local townspeople and photographs are also stored here. 'Mapas y Eventos' from the HammaMcgee collection are here. Old photos from the classic January photo shoot in front of the church are here, as well as the old calendars that were produced with residents' names and address. Everyone is welcome to visit the library and spend as much time as they like.
